for sale is my 1949 Chevy pick-up that I picked up as a project.I never seen one like this, the previous owner had removed the stock box and hand built a dump box that looks just like the original box, he did a really slick job at making it look as if its just a regular box. All the hydraulics are still intact and it driven off the engine by belt, not a pto system, also the reserve tank is mounted under the hood on the firewall . As you can see in the pictures the release for the tailgate is right behind the drivers side cab on the side of the box .The engine turns over , but I never tried to start it, it is a true 2500 It does have rot through out, as seen in the pictures but it is not shot , it is still solid, the frame is still solid as well. I.D. tag is intact in door frame ,no papers, being sold with a bill of sale .
