crosscountrysports store Ok, We bought this bike so I could show my wife how nice it is to ride motorcycles (all of my bikes are crotch rockets, not the best for comfort). It worked, but we have decided to get a bigger one. I have enough bikes so we are going to sell this to get a bigger cruiser for "us". This is a 1984 v45 700cc Honda magna that everything works as it should. The bike runs perfect. Starts, warms up, shifts (very smooth hydralic clutch on these. nice.), accelerates, turns and stops as it should. This V 4 cylinder motor is one of the smoothest ones I have ever driven. Shaft drive so maintence free and no chain to worry about getting tangled into or adjusting correctly. Liquid cooled and boy what a nice ride machine. You want something to get back and forth to work and maybe a ride or two here and there. This is the bike. Gets about 50 mpg's. When we bought it it had been kept outside so it was lightly rusted everywhere, I have cleaned it up and will continue to clean it up till it goes. The paint on the tank is faded as shown in the photo's. The back tire is borderline to pass an inspection and it will need rear brake pads sometime soon and lastly we were told that someone had tipped it in a garage and it bent the back right turning sigal and 2 very small dents in the tank as shown in the photo's. Other then that it is a very nice running, smooth riding, pretty quick cruiser bike that everything works as it should. you can ride it the rest of this year for sure and over the winter fix up the cosmetics and have a real nice, reliable ride for the years to come. I know guy's who put over a 100,000 miles on these motors going cross country and daily riding and loved them. After we bought it I went though and changed all the fluids, cleaned it up, checked things over and we took it on a 250 mile ride. I can say that You can pick this bike up and drive it back to anywhere from here as it sits without any worries. runs nice.
