HARD TO FIND 1976 MERCURY BOBCAT IN GREAT CONDITIONNOT A SHOW CAR BUT AN AWESOME DRIVER. 1976 Bobcat is the 3 door Hatchback, Runabout Model with the 'mpg' package. Beautiful Yellow outside with black interior. Original 2.3L four cylinder with 4 speed manual transmission. Runs and drives great. But does have a vibration over 55 mph -- I think it is the tires. Just got back from a 275 mile trip and it got 34 + miles per gallon. This Bobcat purrrrrs! As advertised in the 1976 ads -- 34 hwy and 24 city (see video below). Interior is mostly stock from the factory. Needs carpets and front seat redone. Rear seat is great shape. Headliner is mostly intact some stitches weak. Factory am/fm radio with vintage aftermarket front speakers. This '76 is Mostly Original so may have some wear but not too bad for being 35 years old. Exterior has been repaired in spots and has some dings and rust. The rust is around the bottom of rear hatch window and above the drivers side door (see pics). Windshield cracked. The bright yellow hides alot when the sun is out. Still looks great at 20 foot. Lot of looks when driving around. When was the last time you seen one of these. Only made for a few years so not many around. Has non-power MustangII type rack and pinion Steering, non-power disc brake. Very light car. Remember 'mpg' !!! Please look at pictures.
