We are a dealership, and as such have not owned the cars for an extended time or driven them extensively. We do not recondition our eBay cars to showroom condition, they are sold as-is. Be sure to read the description in its entirety. All our eBay sales are NO RESERVE auctions, but we retain the right to end the auction early and sell to a retail customer. This auction is for a 2000 Nissan Maxima SE with 3.0L V6 engine and 5speed transmission. The Maxima has been Nissan's top level sedan since it's introduction in the early 80s. This Maxima is the last year of the fourth generation. It is powered by the 3.0L VQ30DE V6 engine. This engine has been on Ward's 10 Best Engines list every year since it's release, when it garnered the top spot in 1995, at total of 14 years in a row. This generation of Maxima was Motor Trend's Car of the Year for 1995. The Maxima SE also made Car & Driver magazine's 10 Best List for 1995 and 1996. This Maxima is a good example of why this car was so well liked by the critics and buyers. It is in good condition for its age and mileage, but it does show some signs of wear. The black paint on the body still shines up nicely and does not have any pealing or fading, but does have the scratches and chips that accumulate from normal usage. No large dents. The 5-spoke alloy wheels are in very good condition with very little curb rash. The Hankook Optimo tires have plenty of tread. The interior is in good condition. The gray cloth seats have no tears or burns. There is no smoke, food, mildew, or pet smell. Some of the plastic trim panels around the shifter, window switches, and center console have discoloration and scratching. The power windows, locks, and mirrors all function properly. The carpets and headliner are in good condition, they have minor wear and minor discoloration associated with age and normal usage. The engine works flawlessly. This engine is known to be reliable, have a low cost of maintenance, and often last over 250,000 miles. The transmission is smooth and does not have any abnormal noises or vibration. The clutch is strong and catches high on the clutch pedal travel. The clutch pedal is effortless and easy to use, even in heavy traffic. This car has recently passed PA state inspection.
