I’m selling my 1982 Collector Edition Vette. The car has 69K orig miles, roughly $10-$15K has been spent over the years putting the car into its current condition. Over the last 4 years the car has received new carpet, seats, decals. Paint is 8.5 out of 10, Interior is 8.5 out of 10. The Crossfire Injected Enine runs excellent and strong. Starts right up every time, idles great and is quick off the line. I had several upgrades made to the car for better driveability, performance, and handling. Really its just bringing the car closer to modern technology without losing its unique crossfire look. Here is a list of changes: · Removal of all SMOG equipment-this was carefully removed and will be included with sale · Removal of manifolds (included in sale) Addition of Hooker Comp Headers · VB&P Rack Attack - Rack and Pinion Power Steering (this made a huge improvement in the way the car drives) Original Slush box and tie rods included in sale · All new bilstein gas shocks, another night and day improvement · Brand new white letter tires · New Brake pads and Rotors · New Master cylinder · 1.5 Roller Rockers (original stamped rockers included) · Complete tune up: Spark Plugs, Wires, new HEI distributor cap/rotor (original Distributor cover will be included) · New heat sensor, oil pressure sensor, fuel pump relay, O2 sensor · All new belts and hoses including all heater hoses and rubber fuel lines · New Water pump · New Aluminum Direct Fit Radiator · Dual Electric fans (original fan set up included in sale) Car stayed perfectly cool with A/C on during some 100 deg days in Atlanta traffic! This system is fully automatic, sensor runs off were the old 230 deg electric fan sensor plugged in, all relays connect to A/C to turn on when air comes on. · A/C runs great and cold · New mandrel bent and fully welded exhaust system with high flow cats and high flow OEM style (low noise) mufflers · New mini starter (needed for header clearance) This car is much improved in the way it drives and feels over the original set up. Still retains stock look underneath for car shows. This is a great driving car and is an attention grabber at car shows!
