1973 Porsche 914 2.0 Litre!!! Here is a gorgeous 1973 Porsche 914 2.0L 5-speed that is in excellent condition!! This car has been adult owned and driven, leaving it well cared for and it truly shows. This is a incredibly solid rust free California Arizona car that has only had 3 owners since new!!! This is an incredible find!!! This car is like a time capsule, it hasnt been modified and molested like so many other 914s. This car even retains its factory fuel injection!!! This car is in excellent condition with beautiful black paint, a new black interior, rebuilt engine, Fuchs wheels, 5 speed transmission and new tires!!! These Porsches are incredibly fun to drive!!! This is the most desirable year for the Porsche 914 as it is the first year of the 2.0 and is the only year of the 2.0 without emissions equipment!!! The 1974s were saddled with the power robbing and troublesome fuel injection. This car comes with 20+ years of receipts and paperwork as well. This car is in excellent condition and will surely make its new owner happy. Click to enlarge Exterior: This 914 is finished in a beautiful Black paint finish and is in great condition. The car looks great sitting on its beautiful Fuchs wheels wrapped in new tires with the contrasting silver "Porsche" stripe tying the exterior together. I really like the "Porsche" script rear taillight panel that has been added to the car as well, it gives the rear end a nice finished look. The car is scratch free as well. The rockers and lower valances are all in great shape and painted the correct shade of black as well. The targa top is in excellent shape and all of the latches are working perfectly. The glass is free of "stars" and cracks. Overall the exterior of this 914 is in excellent condition. Click to enlarge Interior: The beautiful Black interior is in excellent shape. The seats, carpet, center console etc... have all been reupholstered and are in excellent condition. This car is equipped with the center console outfitted with a clock, temperature gauge, and volt meter. All of the gauges are working but the clock currently does not. The "period correct" radio is also currently not functioning, which if you ask me, could either use some updating or simply just leave it off and enjoy the drive. The seats are very comfortable and due to the large windshield and mid-engine layout, the driver is given a commanding view making it easier to hit the apex of each corner perfectly. The interior of this car is in excellent condition and is a great place to spend the weekend driving up your favorite twisty roads! Click to enlarge Engine: The 914 2.0 has plenty of power from the factory to accelerate this light weight car with ease. These engines were ahead of there time in the early 70s featuring fuel injection. Many of these 914s have been converted to carbs, but this car retains its rare factory fuel injection and it works great!!! The engine has also recently been rebuilt having only covered a few hundred miles since completion. This is a great running and driving car. This 914 sails along at modern freeway speeds without breaking a sweat and does it comfortably. The tires on this 914 are like in and in excellent condition.
