1974 Chevy C-30 Flatbed 350 V-8 I bought this truck to use around my farm. I have now out grown it and need a bigger truck. The truck is smog exempt. The odometer says 71,244. I'm sure it's been over atleast once. It has a 3sp. transmission with a granny gear (4sp. total). There is very little rust. Someone replaced part of the floor at one point. It has a p.t.o. that is not currently attached to anything. I believe it was originally a rollback wrecker. I have put new tires, brakes, clutch and complete brakes on the front (new rotors also). The motor runs well. It will pull anything you can get behind it. The brakes are hydraulic, they run off the power steering pump. Very cool !!! The front brake rotors are huge on a C-30. I also replaced the wood on the bed and built new sides for the bed. All the gauges work and the dash lights. I just put a new seat in the truck. There is a shut-off valve under the hood to control the water through the heater coil. I could never get the levers in the dash to work correctly. I don't think the stereo works. The emergency brake cable is also broken. The front end shake a little at highway speeds, but not bad. The tires are wearing evenly and all six look almost new. The motor is showing signs of wear. It uses oil, but I'm not sure where it's going? My mechanic want to put a new cam and maybe some lifters. I got a new cam for free from a friend. It comes with the truck. I would replace the timing chain also. I replaced a few lifters when I bought it. I have taken good care of the truck. The motor isn't new, but starts and runs great to me. I don't think you could kill the transmission if you tried. If you would like to see the truck it is located in Hendersonville, TN 37075. Just a fun side note.
