This truck has served me well for 3yrs.I was going to turn it into a black in and out and spend some money to bring it back to life and in general make it my toy.It climbs really good and the 4x4 works flawlessly.Even though it has high mileage it has always had mobile 1 and a quart of Lucas oil treatment in it and I have to say that is good stuff!The Dakota starts up like a new truck every time with no unusual noises coming from the motor and even though I'm a truck driver and always drive it like a big truck if I decide to burn a little xtra gas the thing "gits up off the porch and runs with the big dogs"!I drove it out here to California 2yrs ago from Iowa thru a 70 below blizzard almost the full 2000 miles and never gave me 1 problem even pulling a heavy loaded utility trailer over the Rockies and the Continental Divide!I'll miss this truck but I don't have the where-with-all to make it what it can be and so it's time to let go and get a zip car...Anyway,it has minor body dings on the bed and a small patch of minor rust on both rocker panels and the top hinge is busted on the driver door so easiest fix would be a trip to the salvage yd.There's also some surface corrosion on the roof. It needs paint.The multifunction switch is bad so the cruise control is out until that's replaced.I've found those for $80.It has the V6 MAGNUM which still manages just over 20mpg believe it or not!Tinted windows and sliding rear window.Electric side mirrors.This could be a really nice vehicle if you're looking for a project to make into a nice toy!
