I have up for auction a 1962 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX CLONE , TRIPOWER , 4 SPEED . It is also titled as a GRAND PRIX . It is a 12 year old, frame off restoration. The body is a 1962 Catalina with all the GRAND PRIX chrome. It has the original 389 cu. in. motor, original TRIPOWER , and the original T-10 4 speed trans. Rear end is a 308 posi- traction . Motor has been rebuilt and still is standard bore . The cam is a Ram Air III and works real well with the tripower . It has headers with 3 1/2 " collectors , 3" Flowmasters and 3" exhaust all the way out the back. The dash has been redone , new head liner. The seat cover , carpeting and console are original . The tack is original and works great . The radio and the speedo does not work but all the other gauges work fine . All the windows and door seals where new at time of restoration . Wiper motor needs to be rebuilt . The rear main seal in the motor leaks a little but not real bad . It has the original 14 " rims with the original dog dish hub caps . The tires are like new . The rear quarters have some paint bubbles on the bottom edge and on bottom edge of wheel wells . You will enjoy driving this car . It is like stepping back in history !!!
