This Bike has ELECTRIC START and it works good. The Starter will CLICK 2-3 times before starting sometimes. Easy fix now that everything else is NEW. It has been stored in a barn for Many years. I bought it from a local estate auction where the original owner had passed away. I had the Engine completly rebuilt, {just got it out of the shop last week---it stayed in the shop for over 4-months} Rebuilt From the Top to the Bottom. Had the Carburators rebuilt--Gas Tank cleaned--Brakes checked--and any other maintaince that was needed done to the bike. I was planning to just keep it, But with -2- kids in college now...That ain't happening. Bike is showing ~~01205~~ miles...But the Title will have EXEMPT FOR MILES...This is a S.C. DMV Law, any vehicle 10 years and older in S.C. will be Exempt on miles. The Engine Cranks and Runs Very Good, Does Not Smoke/Leak/Use/Burn any oil. Engine Runs just like it is... IT'S -NEW-. Bike has Good Power. The Transmission is a 5-Speed, It shifts out through ALL -5- Gears very good and smooth. Clutch is very strong, No slipping. The Seat and Factory Sissy Bar {when is the last time we saw one of those?} are in very nice clean condition. No Rips or Tears. Has the Rear Book/Storage Rack, it's nice also. The Gas Tank has a few minor scratches on the side, just from years of storage. Paint looks good. The Chrome is in Good condition, there is some Minor pitting on the mirrors and a few other places, it may scrub/clean off with some chrome polish. The Tires are in good condition, The have almost New tread, No leaks. The Brakes work and are good. Front and Rear work good. The Chain and rear sproket look very good. ALL Lights and Gauges work. Headlite--Tail lite--Turn Signals--Brake Lite--Neutral Lite--High Beam indicator lite--Hi&Lo Beam...They all work just as they should. This Bike Cranks--Runs--Rides Very Good.
