2008 Ford Focus SES Coupe - NO RESERVE - NR: I have for sale, with NO RESERVE, my 2008 Ford Ford Focus SES Coupe with 63,000 miles. The car is driven daily so the mileage will change a bit. I purchased this car from Ted Russell Ford in Knoxville, Tennesse about two years ago with 25,000 miles on it. I was told by the dealer the car had been owned by a couple that pulled it behind an RV. This was likely because the car came with a tow bar installed (which I removed). It is likely that most of the first 25,000 miles were ran up on the odometer in tow as the type tow bar installed kept all four wheels on the ground during towing. It is likely that the engine has somewhere aroung 20,000 miles less than that showing on the odometer because of this, although I can not say for sure. This has been and is a great car. Everything works as it should except for the tire pressure monitor system does not function due to the 18" aftermarket wheels that do not have the sensors. The warning light stays on due to this but I am sure it could be disabled if desired. The Focus has been serviced at regular intervals. As mentioned above I have added 18" aftermarket wheels that really make it stand out. I also had a local paint shop add flames to the hood front and sides with a new clear coat added to the entire vehicle. This is a real head turner. When the clear coat was applied over the flames on the hood there is a part where the finish has some imperfections (see pics). This is apparant when you get in the right light at the right angle but is mostly unnoticed other than standing right next to it. There is slight damage to the left rear corner due to someone backing in to it at the local Wal-Mart (see pics). During a recent storm there was very slight hail damage to the car. The damage is so slight that it went unnoticed for 3-4 weeks. You really have to look to see the few slight impressions (which do not show up in the pics I took). The Focus could use a bit of cleaning inside. There are also couple fo car door dings. The SES version is the top model in the coupe which comes this many standard features including Microsoft Sync which, buy the way, is great. I just put 4 new tires on it less than 500 miles ago and had it professionally aligned. This is a real gas-saver and I usually avarage 35 mpg with all around driving but have gotten over 40mpg on the interstate. The Kelly blue book (kbb) for this car in good condition is $11,295 not considering the custom wheels and paint. I am starting the bid at only $8,995.00 with no reserve. I have the clear title in hand and will only accept cash or certified bank check. If a bank check is to be used I will require the name of the bank issuing the check and city so I may personally contact the bank to confirm the check is good. Counterfeit bank checks are now common and ALL ebay users should protect theirselves. The car must be picked up in Dandridge, Tennessee 37725 within one week of auction end of Auction. I will not ship.
