Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1984 Honda 250R 3-wheeler as a no reserve auction. As you can see from the pictures this 3-wheeler is in great shape. It is NOT all original but could be put back that way for collectors or ridden as a fun machine that has lasted almost 30 years in great condition. I have the original title for this machine when it was purchased new in Utah back in 1984. I will to the best of my ability describe this machine to give you the best understanding of this 3-wheeler along with the pictures that you can see. To my knowledge the only thing not working at this time is the front headlight and tailight. As you can see from the pictures the headlight plastic is cracked and I have attached a zip tie to prevent the light from moving around. The plastic is not original but is in great shape with no cracks or fading. The seat is not original but is in great shape with no rips. The rear wheels and tires are not original but are in great shape, no leaks or plugs. The front tire and rim to my knowledge are original, no leaks or plugs. The rear swing arm has been extended 2 inches (as you can see from the pictures). The gas tank is original but has been painted with flames and the Honda name and sign (which I think looks pretty good). The gas tank paint is good and only has a few very small paint chips. The exhaust is stock but the pipe was painted silver and black (as you can see from the pictures). Now for the mechanical. It starts on the first kick and to my knowledge the engine is 100% original. It runs great and feels very strong and doesn't leak anything. The gears shift smoothly from one to the next. I don't think the clutch lever is original but I don't know for sure. Chain and sprockets are in good condition from what I can tell...never had a problem. Shocks are in good shape as well although the fronts feel a little soft so may need to be rebuilt but I don't know for sure. The don't bother me when I ride. I do not have the airbox cover but it does have an aftermarket filter and cover to block dust and dirt. Brakes as far as I know are in great shape. Never had a problem there. Overall this is a great bike and is fun to ride. It's lasted over almost 30 years in what I would say is really good condition. These are getting harder and harder to find in good shape and running well. Please do not bid unless you are serious about buying. I don't want those that are serious to mis-out because of others that are not serious or do not have the money. A $200 deposit is required within 48 hours of the end of the auction and the balance remaining within 7 days of the end of the auction. Shipping arrangements and cost is the responsibility of the buyer. I will assist as much as possible on my end. Can also arrange for pick-up if buyer is local. Can accept credit cards, cash if picked up locally, money order or cashier check.
