Great fuel economy, durability and a sporty ride are the highlights for this Volkswagen sedan. The 1.9L four-cylinder turbodiesel engine which motors the Jetta achieves an impressive 39 mpg city/50 mpg highway. It also will last you 30-40% longer than a gasoline engine. I save $500-plus a year with this TDI (based on 10,000 miles driven a year, $3.70/gal for diesel, $3.40/gal for regular gasoline, and the alternative gasoline-powered car averaging 25 mpg). Condition: Overall - clean and good. Mechanically sound with clutch and timing belt in good condition. No leaks. Oil just changed with 5W-40 Castrol Syntec and Mobil1 filter. Exterior: Paint is in good condition with very few paint chips on front and none elsewhere. There is one small scrape/ dimple on the bottom of the rear right passenger door. I didn't notice it until I waxed it because it was touched up very nicely. No other dents or dings. Windshield and windows in excellent condition. Tires are new Michelin all-season rubber. Interior: Grey cloth upholstery is in good condition - no tears, stains or unpleasant odors. Non-smoker owned. All lights and electronics work. No cracks or blemishes on dash. Features: Alpine radio and CD player with detacheable face (amp just went out on me, if this is an issue for a buyer then I should be able to have it replaced prior to ownership transfer).
