The La Grange, Illinois Police Department is selling the following vehicle: a Black 2003 Ford Econoline E-350 Super Van Cutawat (box truck) with the low mileage of 51,796 miles. The vehicle is a seized vehicle and must be disposed of according to Illinois law-it must be sold in an auction-type setting such as eBay and there is no Buy-It-Now option. The vehicle was seized in July 2010 and has been garage-stored since (temperature controlled). The following are several specs/features of the vehuicle: The vehicle was manufactured by Bay Bridge Manufacturing in 2003. It is a 2-axle box truck with a GVWR of 11,500 lbs. Tire size is LT225/75R16E with 16 X 6 rims. The vehicle measures approximately 24 feet bumper to bumper and 8 feet in width. The enclosed box can be secured from the rear and the cab. There is a pull-out ramp. There are numerous cabinets/shelves inside the enclosure for vast storage. The tires look to be in good shape. The cab looks to be in good shape, including the seats, which have been protected by a cloth covering. The vehicle has an AM/FM stereo in working order and the air conditioning works very well. The body of the cab and box look to be in very good shape, just showing normal signs of wear-n-tear. There are no known major mechanical or physical problems with the vehicle. It would be great for a business. The vehicle has only very little minor rust (surface). There is a scratch on the passenger door. There are a few minor scratches on the box of the truck, probably from hanging trees. There is a very minor dent in the right front of the vehicle. All above may be viewed in the photographs. The battery may need to be replaced soon, unknown life left-we have had a charger on it. This vehicle MUST be disposed of according to Illinois law-it must be sold in an auction-type setting and there is no Buy-It-Now option. The vehicle is being sold AS IS and with NO warranty, neither express nor implied. The winning bidder is responsible for the pick up of the vehicle or making arrangements with a private shipping service. Due to the vehicle being sold AS IS and with no warranty, we suggest potential bidders view the vehicle in person, as there may be defects that I am not aware of.
