For Sale - Clean, 1993 Honda ST1100 Sport Tourer, Candy Glory Red paint. This cycle has had the typical Honda ST1100 bullet-proof reliability with no mechanical problems during my 7 year ownership. I have had it on multiple interstate trips over 2000 miles with nothing but enjoyment and praise for it's performance! I am selling it because I simply don't have the opportunity to ride it very much now. Typical fuel mileage is 45 - 50 mpg at lower elevations and 47 - 55 mpg at higher elevations, occasionally going over 350 miles on one tank of gas in higher altitudes. It always starts easily and runs, rides and shifts flawlessly with excellent performance from sea level up through higher (up to 12,200 feet) altitudes. I purchased this motorcycle 7 years ago from the second owner (in the Chicago area) with 19,200 miles and I have put on about 32,000 miles. It has been garage kept it's entire life (based on feedback from the second owner), spending 2 years in CO, 2 years in MN, and 3 years in OH during my ownership. It has never been down since I owned it, nor is there any evidence that is has ever been down. I have performed the oil changes and oil filter changes every 3000 miles. Additional regular maintenance included air filter cleaning (K & N air filter), clutch and brake fluid replacement, rear gear box oil changes (including gear box O-rings replacement and spline greasing with moly grease) when tires were replaced, and one major tune-up at 41,000 miles including valve adjustments, coolant system flush, coolant replacement and carburetor synchronization. Valve adjustments and carburetor synchronization were not needed, but recommended per the Honda maintenance intervals. The battery was replaced last summer and the radiator cap was replaced 4 year ago. There are a few light stone chips in the paint in the front right side of the fairing and a couple of light surface scratches (not through the paint) on the sides of the saddle bags. Typical of an 18 year old motorcycle, there is some light surface rust on the outside of the brake disks. I've attempted to take photographs of these minor defects, but they are very minor and difficult to photograph. The paint is glossy, waxed, and un-faded. When I was commuting on it, I installed a cycle cover on it every day at work.
