Vehicle Detail
****Please Read**** Motor in truck is probably blown. A few dealerships have looked at this truck and gave me some options to fix it. They installed a new fuel pump, replaced the batteries did some work on the egr valve and replaced some injectors. The dealership in Brownwood, Tx. claims that they got a bad batch of injectors and the ones they installed needed to be replaced and the truck would run fine, but as far as this auction goes I am calling the motor blown. I spent right at $8,000 to try and fix the motor. If you get it and can fix it this would be a great truck. I love this truck and planned on taking the 6.0 out of it and installing a Cummins at a local shop, but like most farmers the drought has hit me pretty hard so I am going to sell it instead. It has a green spray in bedliner, 6in lift and rides like a dream. It has around 130,000 miles on it, "I let the batteries go dead and the odometer is digital." The truck is not running so you would have to bring a trailer to pick it up. If you need it shipped there are several trucking companies close to here that I can get a quote from. Please ask for a quote before bidding. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. This would make someone a great truck, or for the price would be a great parts truck. On Aug-28-11 at 10:47:03 PDT, seller added the following information: ***I just met someone to look at this truck, they pointed out that when I had it towed in the past the tow truck company removed the front drive shaft and did not re-install it. I remember them doing it to keep from damaging the transmission when it was towed. The 4-wheel drive did work perfect, but shaft is now missing.
