Vehicle Detail
1975 FORD F-250 SUPER CAB 2WD 390 V8 w/ 4 BBL & C-6 Automatic On Aug-26-11 at 14:42:17 PDT, seller added the following information: Uncle Jesse is a 1975 Ford F250 2WD Super Cab Camper Special. In its day this was probably quite a loaded up old truck! It was optioned with factory A/C (non-op), transmission cooler, Headers, Cargo Light, full hubcaps, C-6 automatic, and a 390 V8 with a 4 barrel Holley. This truck is not perfect, as illustrated from the super-sized photos. But I'd say it's above average for an unrestored almost 40 year old truck. It runs well and has been rebuilt and punched out to .060 over. New plugs, wires, points, voltage regulator, solenoid, starter, rear brake lines, and box liner. Tires have low miles on them but are weathered and aged. Probably fine for around town or farm driving, but if this would be your interstate cruiser you would want to upgrade the front tires for sure. Seat has seams open on the upholstery, mostly on the driver side. Rear seat for super cab is missing. Floors in front have been patched; floor behind front seat is solid. Lights all work. Radio lights up but does not have volume. Maybe speakers need to be hooked up? Power steering works well. Has high performance headers with a dual exhuast system. The driver's side is missing the main pipe and tail pipe and just has a small muffler cobbled together under there now. Passenger side exhuast appears complete. If you want it to be quiet, I'd plan on fixing the driver side exhaust. I'm probably forgetting some things, so if you have a specific question as to the condition of something on the vehicle, please ask. And remember that this is a No Reserve auction. Only bid if you are serious and intend on following through and paying for and picking up this truck in "as-is" condition. Uncle Jesse would be a good fixer-upper truck or could be driven just exactly the way it is. Feel free to message me through the eBay message system. I check it often. Happy Motoring! Enjoy the Auction!
