Up for bid I have a used 1992 Honda Accord LX. It has 165,000 miles. Mechanically this vehicle is good, cosmetically it's a different story. The car drives great and is good on gas. It has power windows, power door locks, driver side airbag, cruise control and the standard equipment for a 1992 accord. The cruise control works. It has a newer radiator and the timing belt and water pump was changed at about 120,000 miles. Now, the bad stuff. The power antenna does not go up and down, it's stuck in the up position, The original cassette player is installed, some of the cloth is peeling on the inside back door panel, all it needs is some adhesive, the windows in back screech when rolled down, the rubber weather stripping is dried out and it makes that sound against the glass, the front driver window rolls up but it needs adjustment to get a perfect close, other wise there is about a 1/4" gap at the top corner of the window, The A/C needs to be charged as it doesn't blow as cold as it used to, the radio does not work unless the headlights are turned on, this is a common accord glitch, some thing to do with the radio casing sharing a circuit with the lighting, The rear passenger side door has some damage from a car backing into it, it closes and opens just fine, the front driver side blinker lamp works but needs replacing, some one crunched it and of course as expected dings dents and scratches accumulated over the past 20 years. Also, it will need an oil change soon, the oil was changed about 3000 miles ago. It is registered through October and passed SMOG last year. We are the original owners, my father bought this car brand new off the lot. This car is good for daily commute and should last quite a few years. Hondas have been known to last up to 300,000 miles if properly taken care of. The Kelly Blue Book value at the least amount is a little over $1,100.
