2001 Honda Valkyrie Interstate – Road Ready for the Labor Day Weekend You have found a bike that’s getting rarer every day. The Interstate was targeted at a niche market of those riders who wanted a bike that was set up for the long haul, offered unequalled torque from a silky smooth boxer six engine and had the classic look of an open framed motorcycle. I bought this bike about five years ago and have loved it since. She’s taken me thru Monument Valley, all over the Rockies, east thru Missouri, across the Smokies, south into Florida. She loves flying down the interstate as much as she does climbing Colorado switchbacks. This bike is Strong! Fun! Reliable! I’ve added several features since I bought her including: An oversized windshield Cruise Control –this is not a throttle lock – works just like the one in your car. Air horn Luggage Rack Saddlebag Rails CB – Honda’s original for this bike Rear speakers Foot pegs Leather tank bib with two storage pouches AND BEST OF ALL – a set of ULTIMATE seats – front and back – with a backrest and storage pouch. These seats are only one year old! Yer butt’ll be tickled!! Avon tires - front will finish this season – rear is good for next year, too. Recently tuned - valves adjusted – etc. In good condition – this bike is not new – it has a few signs of use – finish is boot scratched here and there but never dropped. Sleeps in the garage.
