It is always hard to describe a 30 year old motorcycle but I will do my best. I liked this vintage of motorcycles so I bought this a couple years ago with the idea I would completely restore it. This was one of the early Suzuki shaft drive models that was very quick and reliable.The bike is very straight and would be perfect to restore to it's original condition. Before I got the bike it had been in storage for 10 years so it is a little tarnished and the paint has a few chips that were poorly touched up and some minor scratches. The tail piece is the worst with some deep scratches on the top. The bike starts and runs good, transmission shift perfect. I replaced lots of small things like the seat hing pins, side cover rubber grommets, spark plugs, all lubrications etc. Tank is good inside and out. The exhaust seems solid except the left tail pipe has a small rust spot that came through the chrome shown in the pictures. I think the folk seals will need to be replaced because there is a small bit of oil residue starting to show up on the folks. Basically the bike can be used as is or it could be restored. The bike is not ready to be in a museum but from 20 feet away it looks excellent. If you come to pick the bike up and it is not as I described it you don't need to take it and I will refund your deposit as well. Please ask any questions you have.
