1974 MGB Roadster!!! Here is an absolutely beautiful (and unique) MGB Roadster that is in excellent condition!!! This MGB is finished in a beautiful Pink over black interior. This car was originally built by a father for his daughter to drive. He went through great lengths to ensure that eh car was reliable for his daughter. Because of this, this is an excellent driving car. The engine has been rebuilt, the transmission shifts perfectly and features a new clutch, the car has brand new minilite style wheels with brand new tires, the car has the less complicated single weber down draught carb. This really is a great driving MGB. The paint on this car is beautiful and all of the chrome, is new and in excellent shape, the interior looks amazing...this car drives great and turns heads everywhere you go. This is a great collectible classic that is surely to appreciate in value over the next several years!!! Click to enlarge Exterior: This MGB looks great with its beautiful pink paint, bright chrome, and minilite wheels. As you can see from the detailed photos the car looks great. The choice of paint color is unique. It is "Playmate Pink" which is the same shade that Ford made for Hugh Heffners Mustang and then ran a series of limited edition Mustangs in the same unique color. The color looks "period correct" on the car. Not too bright and vibrant and of course... no metallic flake either. As you can imagine this car gets thumbs up as you drive down the road and plenty of attention at the gas pump. Click to enlarge Interior: The interior of this classic MG is like new and in excellent condition. The front seats have been reupholstered and look and feel great. The carpet is in excellent shape as well and is free of stains etc... The dash board is in very nice shape and is free of cracks. All of the gauges work beautifully and look great with there chrome bezels. All of the door panels, kick panels etc... are in new and in great shape. This radio is currently not working and of course could stand to be "modernized." The convertible top is free of rips and tears and is in good shape. Overall the interior of this car is beautiful. Click to enlarge Engine: The 1800cc 5-main, 4 cylinder fires right up and runs like a top. The car blows no smoke on start up or while driving. The engine was rebuilt several years ago but hasnt had many miles put on it since being rebuilt. The car runs great and and sounds great too with a performance "header" and sporty sounding. The engine is topped with a rebuilt weber down draught car which makes the car much easier to maintain than the standard 2 carb set up. The engine has great oil pressure and runs nice and cool even in Arizonas hot climate. The transmissions shifts nice and easy through all of the gear and the car has had a new clutch installed. The car stops straight and stops with ease. The brakes have all been gone through and the car has a nice firm brake pedal. This car is a joy to motor around town in. As I mentioned previously this car was built by a father for his daughter with reliability in mind This is a great car to waste the weekend away in.
