Up for grabs is my dad's 1999 Camry CE. The car needs some work and TLC. I'm not a mechanic but I work on cars as a hobby and know a great deal about them. With a about $600 this car can be perfect. My dad wants a new car because he's about to retire and just wants to get in a car and drive. We bought the car brand new from B&L Toyota in 1999 and I have done most of the maintenance on the car. The transmission is shifting hard in first and second. The car starts up and runs but the shifting problem is there. It just started 30 miles ago. We decided not to drive it anymore because we did not want to further damage the car.
