Up for auction is my 1991 Alfa Romeo 164 5 speed with clean body and decent interior. 5 speed transmission shifts fine and motor runs well. I have driven the car about 10 miles and let it idle for an hour to see what issues it has and I would say its ready for the open road but does have some kinks that need ironed out which are listed below. Exterior: The body on this car has no rust. It appears to have been repainted at some point and was a good job. Tires are fair to poor tread wise, glass is in good condition, exhaust has a nice tone to it. No significant body damage but passenger side door handle is broken and the gas cap/lid is missing. Front lower air dam has cracks in it but lights all work. Interior: Interior is clean for its age. Dash is really in good condition. The drivers window motor works but I can't get any other windows motors to operate. The sunroof works but power mirrors do not. The passenger seat motors operate but only the drivers back support button works. Dash gauges all work, oil gauge is broken and innitially shows pressure but will fade off, car still has oil pressure but gauge is bad. Radio is nice and has good speakers, a/c is not cold. Rear headliner is sagging as shown in photos. Drivetrain: Motor runs great and has plenty of horsepower. Exhaust really sounds good when you accelerate. Motor is a 3.0 v6 and transmission is a 5 speed. The drivers side c/v joint is making popping noise when driven around corners. Clutch is strong, exhaust burns oil, battery holds charge and charging system works fine. Does not overheat or have any odd noises. I would not hesitate to drive this car daily but would recommend fixing cv joint and putting rear tires on it. Terms and Conditions – PLEASE READ!!! Title will be mailed after it is put in winning buyers name at Ohio DMV. I am a licensed dealer in Ohio and am required to collect sales tax for the states listed below, not any others. Buyer must show proof of state of residence. The rate of tax to apply is 6 percent. Calculate the other state price (taking into account the above adjustments, such as a trade-in allowance for the purchase of a used car) and apply the rate of tax as listed in the chart above. Collect from the customer the lesser of the two amounts. Sales to residents of any other state not listed in the chart are not subject to Ohio tax, provided the proper affidavit for nonresident sales is completed by the purchases and tendered to the Clerks of Court when application for title is made. If needed, I can provide a temporary tag for a fee of $18.50. Payment A $200.00 deposit is required to be paid via Paypal within 24 hours of the auction closing. If winning bidder would like to pick up the item within 24 hours, please contact the seller immediately and a Paypal deposit will not be required. The deposit is refundable unless: 1) the winning bidder fails to pay for the item in full by the required time set on this auction, which is ten calendar days after auction ends, or 2) see below.
