1988 Cadillac Allante I have a 88 Allante that I purchased a few months ago and now have no time to tinker with or drive. I need to sell as I am working 6 10 hour days a week. The car starts every time and I have only driven it around the driveway and in and out of the garage. I bought it from an retired attorney in Louisville Ky. and he knew the previous owners. One of the other owners had a place in South Carolina and dove this car back and forth, hence the miles. The car has the hardtop, starts and stops good ( BRAKES ARE FINE). The windows work as they should. I have noticed some of the power seat buttons do not work. I have the rear view mirror from the windshield and it needs reattached. The cloth top is in very good condition, no tears or rips,,, all glass is good. Tires and wheels are in very good condition. Original spare and tools. I do not know much about these special cars, I just thought it was really sharp looking and always wanted one. This one has a few things needed,,, it has a small oil leak around the intake or distributor i think, It needs a good tune - up, runs Ok but it sounds like a plug or wire might need changed. little things like the window washer sensor show it needs fluid, but it's full. Overall It is a solid car, I don't believe it has been wrecked, and looks to be original paint. I would give the outside a 7 and the interior the same. It is a 1988 and a fairly rare car.
