Vehicle Detail

Race car with body and front-end mechanical damage recently suffered in a roadcourse incident. While there is significant damage, there are many expensive components in excellent condition... ideal for: Upgrading an existing race car Converting a street Corvette into a higher-end race car Perfect for the street rod in desire of an attitude Upgrading the performance of a street Corvette Of particular interest is the very rare, aluminum block, high performance 32-valve LT5 engine that was just recently rebuilt and is in undamaged condition... the engine can be started... no fluids were lost as a result of the incident. The engine has only two track days since the rebuild and less than two hours of run time. Among the items included in the engine rebuild: New rod bearings New main bearings Complete valve job New valve springs New timing chains and tensioners New rings All new gaskets and seals New clutch New EMU computer There is a wealth of information on this great engine on the internet. Click this link for a summary: http://www.zr1netregistry.com/ZR1_specs.htm#2 Impact with guard rail by the right-side front has resulted in the frame rails being moved and there is apparent tie-rod damage. There may also be damage to suspension components but it is difficult to determine with just a visual inspection. Among the many useful parts: Roll cage Fuel cell 4 nearly-new BF Goodrich G-Force R1 race tires 4 aluminum wheels - one of which has some rim damage from the track incident but is probably repairable Kirkey race seat with harness Shocks & springs Brake rotors and calipers Sway bars Rear wing - has some damage but repairable Windshield Transmission & rear end The car could be rebuilt or simply used as a donor car for a project... in either case there is a lot of value for a low price.
