1989 Toyota Supra Turbo Targa (2 door) I have a 1989 Toyota Supra (Targa top) for sale $4000 (open to all offers); Blue/ Black in Colour with a few bubble spots on the side skirts. Comes with BSA rims and 225/50/R16 AKINA tires on front (90% tread) and 225/50/R16 MICHELIN PILOT XGT on the rear (50% tread) and will also include a sets of stock rims and never used Yokohomo tires. Also includes blue MK1 front bumper and Clarion Deck. Interior is in good shape, very clean, the carpet doesn’t have any tears or rips but there is a slight tear in the driver’s side visor and it needs a new auto shift knob or a new ball bearing to replace the one from the existing auto shift knob. The center console, dash and all trims and pieces are in excellent shape with no blemishes. Everything in the vehicle is stock outside of the Clarion deck which will be included in the sale of the vehicle. Engine/Tranny: 7mgte/ approx. 159000 km on stock engine which burns about 1/2 quart of oil every oil change as I've noticed, but no blue/white smoke seen at all. I replaced the head gasket when I purchased the vehicle with an HKS Steel Multi Layer Head Gasket, ARP head stud kit and the connecting rods and bearings in the engine had been replaced with new ones. All engine work can be verified with receipts and was done by PUR Automotive. I also replaced and installed new right and left motor mounts as well as an O2 sensor. The ignition system has been upgraded as well by replacing the stock ignition cables and distributor with a coil on plug ignition modification coupled with a higher output alternator. Also the Supra will need a new cat to pass emissions other than that though the Supra Boost fine and pulls hard like a supra should. Plugs were replaced 5k ago and the transmission is Automatic.
