2001 Honda Insight, 83,400 miles, always Honda serviced, new IMA battery and controller in June of this year. We purchased this car in 2003 with 13,000 miles on it. It has been my wife's primary car ever since. It has always been serviced by the local Honda dealer. We have almost all of the service records for the time we have owned the car. Non-smoker, no pets and no kids at home sharing this car. We also have both keys with remotes, the window sticker and the owner's manual (see pictures). The major service due at 75,000 was completed by Honda. Tires are good and brake pads were replaced about 10,000 miles ago. The wheels are nice with no curb damage. It has always been a Florida car so it has never been in snow. Everything works as it should. If you have been following these cars you already know that it is common to see them with 200,000 miles or more so this one has a lot of life left. The IMA battery and the controller were replaced by Honda at 81,700 miles (June 15th, 2011). Lifetime fuel milage (mostly in town with the air on) is 47mpg. The interior is clean with no major stains. The carpets are nice and the car is a "non-smoker" car. There are no holes, rips or split seams. The front bumper cover has a few rock chips and one minor blem (see pictures). The door sill on the drivers side has chips from getting in and out (again, see pictures). The door jam on the drivers side has a few chips from closing the door and getting the seat belt hasp caugt in the door. The top of the rear bumper cover has a couple of minor marks from loading stuff into the back hatch. The car was recently professionally detailed. I would rate both the inside and the outside as between a 7 and a 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. The only damage tha has ever happened to the car was a scrape in the drivers door back in 2003. The door was replaced with new and properly painted by a quality body shop. It looks great. I have tried to very accurately describe this car and as I read what I have written the cars sound not as nice as it is.
