Vehicle Detail
1983 S10 regular cab shortbed. Gm 19244450 350 crate engine, fully built TH350. 7.6 rear with 3.42 gear and locker. Has P/S, P/B, heat. this truck is not your average V8 s10, best of everything and done CORRECTLY. No hack job here like you see so often. DRIVE THIS TRUCK ANYWHERE!! Look at the history report of this truck, it is a local SOUTHERN truck with ZERO!!!! rust. NOTE: Truck is an original A/C truck, all the A/C components are still in the cab. Could easily add a/c to the truck with the addition of a compressor, condensor and dryer etc. WAY MORE INVESTED IN THE ENGINE AND TRANS ALONE THEN THE BUY-IT-NOW PRICE. Long block alone was $2500, $1500 for the trans, not to mention intake, carb, ignition, etc. ENGINE: GM 19244450 350 crate engine Comp 280 camshaft (pretty nasty idle) Weiand aluminum intake BRAND NEW holley 670 street avenger (bought 7-22-11) Polished water pump Polished aftermarket serpentine belt setup Correct headers and motor mounts for the swap GMPP valve covers and breather Painless thermal fan switch Mallory Unilite distributor MSD 6AL ignition system Taylor race wires 16'' electric fan HUGE custom made aluminum radiator Full custom exhaust and dual flowmasters tailpipes dump right behind the roll pan (professionaly done, no junk) All factory wiring for alternator, battery cables, starter was used. Aside from the MSD wiring, everything appears stock. Looks like this engine came in the engine bay from the factory. TRANS: TH350 TCI 2800-3000 stall Hardened input upgraded sprag and race all new clutches/steels Standard pattern valvebody (shifts FIRM) finned pan HURST pro-matic ratchet shifter INTERIOR: BRAND NEW carpet (less then 2 weeks old) Cavalier bucket seats (swapped correctly using the S10 sliders, looks factory, no cobbled up junk) JVC CD player Grand wheel with billet adapter NEW dash carpet All panels have been re-dyed black (door panels, all interior trim etc) Looks very sharp Autometer phantom tach with shiftlite Rebuilt steering column (tilt pins, etc) EXTERIOR: 2.5'' steel cowl hood (fits like factory, no junk) Rally wheels with nice centers and rings Rear roll pan Could use a good buffing as it has original paint, and has some blemishes. LH top of fender the paint has some cracks. You can polish/wax the truck and it will look great for a month, but the paint will slowly get dull again. The odometer was set to zero when truck was completed and now has LESS then 4,000 miles. the engine is still under GM warranty. This truck neeeds NOTHING. Cosmetically it is not a show truck but is still very presentable and turns heads and draws attention everywhere it goes. This is a fun little hot rod with complete reliability, drive it anywhere. The truck sounds amazing and has a very lumpy idle. Truck is listed locally, and I reserve the right to end auction early. Feel free to email me with any questions you may have before bidding. I will consider trades if you are somewhat local. Things I would consider trading for are mustangs, 4 wheelers, jet skis, or any other car or trucks. Let me know, worst I can say is no.
