Clean, decent running and driving 1968 Porsche 912. West coast "barn find" car was restored/rebuilt several years ago, and used sparingly since. Has many great qualities, but would need several little things (in my opinion) to make it right. Or enjoy it as a driver as is. Here are a few notables: * Rebuilt engine - older rebuild with more time sitting than usage. Runs & pulls very strong, but (Weber) carbs could probably used tuned. Comes with filters for carbs (not shown on pics). Slow to start when cold, but runs nicely once going. Needs driven! * New brakes all around - again, several years old, but very few miles * Original Fuchs wheels. Probably worth a third of the asking price these days. These wheels are in excellent condition. Was tempted to keep them for one of my early 911s, but will pass them on to the successful buyer. * Fair paint, shines decently, would possibly really come to life with a good buffing. Looks to be a fair respray over what I believe to be originally sand beige (code 6807) Why people do the things they do to otherwise good, solid cars, I have no idea. But here are the things I would change back to orig. if I was keeping: * Aftermarket rear bumper - Also decklid has a few small drilled holes that were put there when a "ducktail" was installed. * Aftermarket (power!) seats - Have originals, in good shape and servicable, just need recovering. *They come with the car* (see pic). * Aftermarket "Dino" steering wheel * Aftermarket stereo/speakers I am offering this car now for a quick sale.
