We absolutely love this car and know that whoever buys it will love it do. It drives amazingly and it has never had any mechanical problems whatsoever. The accident/other issues: The car was involved in a minor accident within a week after we acquired it in January 2008 (no one was hurt). We immediately fixed it at our local Subaru dealership (paperwork is available) and we have never had any problems with the excellent repair job they did. The vehicle does have the typical dings and scratches that one grows almost to expect in an urban driving environment (we live in Brooklyn, NY) and I have tried to detail the significant dings in the photos. The dings and scratches are all easily repairable but I have not had time to repair them - you are not buying from a dealer who has spent a few hundred buck prettying up the car and now expects to make a huge premium. My educated estimate of the cost of fixing each and every ding and scratch is less than $1,000. So I do expect that the auction price will reflect a reduction to fair value for this inconvenience. Another cosmetic issue is that the antenna cap on the roof was knocked off by the arm of my electric garage-door opener so the cap is missing from the top of the vehicle. It has no effect on the operation of the radio but it looks bad and should be replaced - this too is cheap to do - I took a picture of that too. Now that we've gotten all that out of the way -- happy bidding! Look past the minor cosmetics, this is an unbelievable vehicle with extremely low mileage and no mechanical issues and can be had for a bargain price. We would not be selling it if we had the choice - I am being relocated to Israel for work and must sell the vehicle ASAP so we can buy something similar when we arrive there at the end of the month.
