Great M5 for a great price. Need to sell to buy a newer car for work. Great condition other than repaired crack on front bumper, small paint chip on rear trunk and slight scratches in rear right quarter-panel riser. Car does have a rebuilt title due to retarded insurance adjuster. Built in hidden Radar/Laser Detector. Boston Acoustics Speaker and Amplifier upgrade. Bluetooth music input. Questions Asked: Dear ballyrecording, Has the car been serviced as per BMW recommendation ? please advise the damage to cause salvage title. Thank You John John- I have owned the car for the last 12k miles. I purchased it from the dealership who bought it at auction from the insurance company. The car had been bottomed out, tearing the oil pan. The insurance adjustor looked and assumed the lower engine block was ripped. The person who bought it replaced the oil pan and the car ran/runs fine. In the time I have had it, I have done oil changes/air filter cleaning at the appropriate time based on the BMW oil change indicator, replaced the spark plugs, replaced the thermostat and have done interior replacements for switches which were ugly from wear. This car runs and drives really well. I really do not want to sell it, but am required to have a newer car for my new job.
