BMW led a wave of new German roadsters when it introduced the Z3 in early 1996. The Z3 is the first BMW roadster to be sold in America since the legendary 507 was discontinued in 1959. While the Z3's retro styling has the feel of classic roadsters, the car is thoroughly modern, foregoing no creature comfort or ergonomic consideration. For 1998, BMW's M motorsports division has added the Z3 to its collection of high-performance M models with the addition of the M Roadster. Equipped with the same engine as the powerful M3 and styling befitting of an M car, the new lightweight M Roadster can reach 60 mph in just over five seconds. This is a hard to find M Roadster with very low miles. Mechanically it's in great condition. This convertible is being sold because we have purchased a newer BMW. Only 52,900 miles 3.2 liter inline 6 with 240 HP and 236 Torque (lb-ft) manual transmission: shifts smoothly and the clutch seems to be in good condition. The AC blows cold Power windows, seats and locks all work Newer Sony CD player The rear window in the top was just replaced Bridgestone Potenza tires are in good condition KBB seems to value this car at around $12,370 in Excellent condition, $11,845 in Good condition and $10,970 in Fair condition, and Nadaguides gives it a much higher value. According to KBB 82% of vehicles fit in the "Good condition" category. This car is being sold as is and I have done my best to represent the car fairly and to point out all defects. Overall I do feel this car is in good condition. As this car is 13 years old it does have a few flaws: 1. The seat bushings are worn and allow the seat to move back and forth about 1/2 inch. 2. The glove box seems to hang down a little 3. The airbag light is always on
