For Sale: 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner Very original car with 90% original paint and original roadrunner stickers. This is one of the survivors!! History says this vehicle was bought from Bob Cochran's Dealership in 1975 by second owner. We were told this second owner blew the original motor and the car has been sitting in a garage since 1978. Unfortunately, due to a family dispute, the motor was scrapped. We found the car in a dry garage in Oregon and we are currently storing in a dry garage. Odometer reads 81,002 and we think this is the actual mileage based on the history. Car comes with a 1970 440 4-barrel engine, and a 4-speed transmission. This engine has been removed from the vehicle but was a runner when pulled from the car. We do not have a bell-housing and shifter. Originally this car was a 383 bench seat 4-speed. Car has original upholstry with small tears, original paint and roadrunner stickers. The floorpans are rust-free and still have shiny paint. The only visible rust is in lower corners of the rear window (shown in photos). Trunk floor is also nice with two small rust spots. Lower fenders and lower quarter panels appear to be rust-free. No cracked or broken glass. We would love to restore this one, but we already have too many projects to complete. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone that wants to just polish and keep as an original driver or restore into a beautiful collector car.
