Up for sale is a Black 1993 Ford F150 XLT Extended Cab Short Bed Flareside truck. Unfortunately after 18 years, my baby's frame has lost it's war with New York State Winters. She is mechanically sound and runs just fine. The odometer reads 174,067 miles but the 5.0 L V8 engine and automatic transmission were rebuilt by previous owner at 150K. I was driving and hauling a horse trailer with her in air conditioned comfort up until last week when she unexpectedly failed to pass the New York State Inspection due to a cracked frame. Front tires tread is fair, rear tires are good, 2 spare tires on rims hold air but not sure tread would get through inspection. Pros Engine runs well Automatic Transmission (with Overdrive) is solid and shifts beautifully XLT package includes Cruise, Power Windows, Power Locks, ABS, Tilt Steering Wheel, Air Conditioning & Sliding Rear Window Front Brakes, Rotors, and Calipers replaced July 2011 New Class III Reese Trailer Hitch installed November 2010 Fiberglass Bed with Plastic Liner Both Doors have been replaced by previous owner & have only a very little rust starting on interior bottom edges Running Boards replaced by previous owner & are solid New Battery February 2011 Remote Keyless Entry Two extra tires mounted on spare rims included Cons Western New York Winters hard on body (see pictures) Frame will not pass New York State Inspection due to rust damage Only 1 fuel tank, Auxiliary Fuel Tank MIA Passenger power door lock does not work, drivers side is fine One sliding panel of rear window has been replaced with plexiglass Removed after market stereo and trailer brake controller for my next truck, so no radio Headlight switch knob fell off, pliers I use to turn them on included with truck On Aug-14-11 at 19:16:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Clarifications added 08/14/11This vehicle will NOT pass NYS inspection as is.
