1977 Honda CB

1977 Honda CB 550K great for a project whether you want to make a Cafe racer or restore to original. I bought it over the winter thinking I would get to it in the spring, but I have two other bikes and those took up all my time. I haven't touched this bike aside from removing the original gas tank, which is included and has absolutely no dings or dents at all, and is perfectly clean inside without a trace of rust. This tank alone would fetch a few hundred here on ebay. It does need paint but that is all. I was going to use the NOS vintage Benelli tank that is in the pics on the bike. It is not attached...just sitting on the frame, so it will need a little work to secure it, and cap if someone is going to use it. I thought it was a great look on the bike. It also comes with two into one headers and mufflers that are in great condition, no dents, shown in pic. The seat is a new replacement that is not attached either but I have the hardware and it would be easy to do. When I picked the bike up, the guy started it for me, but it needs the carbs cleaned as you might imagine, and one of the bowl gaskets was leaking badly so when I got it home I took the tank off and was planning on diving into it but never did. The bike could use a good cleaning, and there is some pitting in chrome, but there are no dents and everything is there. The gas tank is not hooked up, and the carbs will need attention as mentioned before. So, I am listing it AS IS, and needing work.
