---------------Mercury Comet--------------Up for Auction is this 1974 Lincoln Mercury Comet 4 door with 29,000 original miles. Registered in 2010 with 12,525 miles in Ohio with clear title ( Barn Find ). Was used as a grocery runner back in the day quote previous owner. Have all paper work with vin inspection sheet and notorized bill of sale. It has good paint and minimal rust ( two spots 1inches each ) quick bondo fix. Bottom of Front fenders and bottom of rear fender need a little bondo as well. Other than that, this Ford is Solid. Yes I said Ford Straight 6 cylinder 4.1 Automatic tranny 3 speed on the column . Starts first try, shifts like it should, and runs like a top . Brand new , Maxx Big Boy Battery, NGK Plugs, Oem Air Filter, Distributor, Plug Wires, Voltage regulator, Coil, Fuses, and vacuum hoses. The alternator checked out fine but with the car i will include the brand new one I bought for it. Inside we move on to clean leather no rips except one dime hole in driver seat. Leather has been professionally cleaned. Nice chrome wheels and all chrome trim bumpers are in very good shape. New Usb port cd player and two aftermarket speakers in the rear that have not been hooked up yet. Have your self a classic ride with little work , check out the pictures I still cant beleive its almost 50 Years Old. We wanted to keep it but have no choice but to sell now.
