Vehicle Detail

RELISTING THE CAR BECAUSE OF A BUYER (David Evans, eBayer davcpa6448) REFUSED TO PAY FOR THE CAR, SAYING HE PURCHASED ANOTHER ONE. PLEASE, be a bidder with integrity! This is a solid, very reliable 442 “Tribute” Olds Convertible. The engine, 350 “Rocket”, runs very strong with great acceleration. It does not smoke or leak. It does not overheat, and has a new radiator. It has an Edelbrock 700CFM carburetor, with Mickey Thompson valve covers. It has power steering and brakes. It handles very well, is tight, and there is no “float” on the road. The top works fine, and has no rips or tears. The paint shines nicely, and is a “twenty footer” in terms of general appearance. The tires all have very good tread, and wheels are in good condition, however one center cap is missing. The previous owner was going to send . I will have to remind him. The interior is in good condition. The lights, turn signals, brake lights, and gauges work properly. The radio is just “not connected” according to the previous owner. It has a new exhaust which sounds great. The windshield is new. Overall, this is a good “driver” the way it sits. Any yellow in the pictures is just bright sun causing distortion (reflection), not a defect in the paint. For additional pictures (about 35), please go to www.picturetrail.com/wishlee123, and click on the 1969 Olds convertible album. My intention was to enhance it cosmetically, as the mechanicals are all very good. For a “virtual ride” go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?y=4HO6velxVkl, which was done by the previous owner. The reason I am selling the car: my wife’s first car was a new 1969 Olds. She wanted a 442, but her uncle, who was helping her buy the car, said “it was too much car for a young girl”. I bought this car in mid June to surprise her on her birthday in late July. Unfortunately, on June 23rd she was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer. Obviously, that has changed our priorities, and I will not be cosmetically enhancing the car. Therefore, we have decided to sell it, and focus on the challenges ahead. The reserve is low. I have tried to give an honest description of the car along with more than 30 pictures. Please review my feedback to determine my eBay integrity.
