It is a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray coupe that can be driven anywhere and enjoyed today. It is the correct 983 code Goodwood Green Metallic. The paint has an excellent finish. There are a few minor paint chips from being enjoyed but they are hard to notice. Obviously, the 427 Stinger hood was added during the restoration and looks awesome. It is a lifelong Southern California blue license plate car that has an outstanding rust free frame. It is as rock solid as you will find. The Vette has a non-matching #s small block Chevy that was professionally built and is very drivable until you get into it and then it screams. Corvette finned aluminum valve covers, correct ignition shielding, Harrison radiator. The engine compartment itself is very clean. The car is fast, fun, and sounds amazing. There is no mistaking the sound of a mid-year Corvette with sidepipes. It has a Turbo 350 automatic in place of the original Powerglide which makes it much nicer to drive. The car was built with the purpose of having big block performance and looks without the $100,000+ price tag and also to still be able to drive and enjoy it without worries. This is not an NCRS Top Flight car that spends it's entire life in one of those stupid plastic bubbles. But it is a beautiful 67 that you can cruise/show now. I would drive this car to New York if needed. It has power steering and manual four wheel disc brakes. The saddle interior is nice. The chrome is excellent. All the gauges work well. The clock does not work and probably didn't in 1967. It has Bolt On wheels with newer Redline tires. I have zero interest in dealing with Corvette numbers nazis that want to know the date code of the water in the radiator or want to prove to me what a Corvette expert they are. The can quickly turn what I want to be a pleasant experience into an aggravating one in a hurry. The Corvette is sold in used, "as is" condition. There is no warranty expressed or implied.
