2008 Triumph Thruxton 900

This beautiful 2008 Thruxton needs a new home. These bikes are modern with the sexy cafe' racer feel and look of the 60's. Every time I take her out, I get asked "What year is that bike". They are often dumbfounded to hear it's a 2008. This year model also happens to be the last year the bikes were carbureted (none of that EFI). This bike has been well cared for with a single owner. She has 3100 miles, garage kept, never raced and never laid down. This past winter I ran through quite a few mods to increase the performance. I have cleaned up the tail section with a rear fender eliminator kit from New Bonneville and swapped out the big turn signals with something a little more low profile ($225). I improved the power and sound with the installation of a ceramic coated British Customs Predator exhaust, Air Box Elimination with K&N filters and re-jetting ($770). I also installed a matching set of ceramic coated headers ($200). The bike stops fast and sure with the upgraded 4-piston Brembo caliper ($850) and takes the twisties like champ with the adjustable YSS Z362TRL Standard Adjustable Shocks ($450) in the rear and the rebuilt front forks with Race Tech Springs and Gold-Valve Emulators ($270). I purchased and installed the classic Triumph Tank Badges ($200), CRG Bar-End Mirrors ($170/pr), Carb Toppers ($79) and braided stainless steel brake cables ($70) That's around $3284 in upgrades.
