1967 Mercedes Benz 230SL - Manual transmission - Fun to drive! Awesome vehicle. Engine starts right up, idles smooth, and pulls strong. Transmission shifts baby smooth, no grinds, and does not slip. On Aug-14-11 at 09:09:51 PDT, seller added the following information: more pictures as requested of under the vehicle. some paint chips on the edge of the hood..... the driver side headlight bezel part is cracked but still works fine, just minor cosmetic. Theres no rust on the body at all except there is slight bubbling comming from inside of the rear passenger side quarter panel. However paint is in tact and very hard to tell in the pictures. the seats have been recovered and the carpet has been replaced in the past. the engine has been completed replaced/rebuilt approx 10 years ago by the mercedes benz dealership and at the same time the clutch was replaced. there is no documentation but I have contact info from the previous owner that can vouch for this. also I have owned this car for a while in my collection..... i never actually registered the vehicle. it still holds a clear and clean CO title ready for transfer.
