Very original old Chevy ! Runs and drives Excellent ! Air blows freezing cold ! I bought this car from the original owners grandson, He lived in southern Iowa.Car runs straight down the road on its recent radial tires, Brakes are all new including master,Cooling system ,hoses,water pump all in last year. I bought this with intentions ofrestoring it but I have over 25 cars and it seems that I wont get to it for a while..I was told that that mileage is original (20K) but have no proof....But the seats, arm rests ,carpet headliner,brake pedal all show signs of little or no wear..Car dose not leak anything and has quiet exhaust..Has tan clothe seats that have a few minor rips..rear seats like new..Dash pad is perfect with no cracks..Heat-wipers-air all work perfect...Factory radio dont work..Body is VERY rust free and has never been wrecked or painted.The undercarriage is dry and clean & the only rust I can find is a spot on the fender the size of a quarter .Some trim is missing but is in the truck..(little plastic holders need replacing) ...Windshield has a crack on far passenger side The drivers side wing window is broke I have a used replacement in the trunk..This old survivor is a great old cruiser..I have drove it on a few trips of couple hundred miles and smooth at highway speeds..This car has the factory "Power Pack" option that is a 327 W/4 bbl carb..Everything under the hood is stock . In 1981 the car was parked in a garage that caught fire...The fire department broke the wing window put the car in neutral and rolled it out saving the car..The car saw heat to the passenger side rear corner, discoloring the paint and causing some mild warping on edge of the roof.The heat slightly melted one of the taillights and the tabs that hold the trim. The car has absolutely no smoke odor of any kind.I believe the windshield was cracked at the same time.
