I am second owner purchased it on December 2008, drove it primarily from home to school, University of Houston, downtown Houston. I am leaving the state need to SELL. It has been garaged kept, it is fully loaded, leather seats, moon roof, dual power seats. V70 XC station wagon has a very spacious cargo area and an excellent sound system.This car has never been in an accident. The title is clear. This model does not features the 3rd row seat. Well maintained with regular Synthetic Oil change. Engine light comes and goes, Engine has been checked by Houston Momentum Volvo, runs good. The transmission shifts hard after a lot of start/stop city driving. Volvo told us they would need to open up the transmission in order to find the problem, but recommended that we do not do that as the process of opening up would compromise the transmission itself. They recommended to just drive the car if the hard shifts don't bother me. They also recommended to flush the transmission system, which they did in September 2010. AC blows very cold. In very hot temperatures (days above 90 degrees Fahrenheit), it sometimes shuts off after 15-30 minutes. This is due to the AC clutch opening up. When it cools off, the AC works fine again. Minor issues: the passenger door sensor seems to be off occasionally. It thinks the door has opened up which will cause the door ajar indicator to come on, and also if the car is locked the alarm may go off (because the car thinks the door has been opened without the key). This can be reset and cleared with a simple unlock/lock. This happens only occasionally. The right tail light cover has been broken. There is a small hole that I have taped up (this can be seen in the pictures). The bulb is fine, but seems to come loose occasionally. I just give it a little tap and it comes back on. The plastic gear shift button is broken and hangs loose. Causes NO problems though. It's only a cosmetic issue, not a technical one. The hood struts do not hold the hood open. Just needs to be held manually by hand or some other prop. I have bought 4 New tires and they have only 7K miles on them. The car is in immaculate condition cosmetically, and mostly driven without passengers. This car is sold AS IS with no warranty!! Buyers from out of Houston area are responsible and MUST arrange for pick up and pay for cost of shipping.
