1998 Cadillac Seville STS I bought this STS in April 2008 and drove it to work for a couple of years. I bought a newer Cadillac to replace it about a year ago. I was going to sell it, but then my wife hurt her back and couldn’t get in and out of her Corvette. I re-registered the 98 STS and she drove it a few times after that. The car looks pretty good, but it is not perfect. There are photos of the significant items. The windshield is cracked. When I bought it, there was a small crack at the top of the windshield that has progressed over three years to what you see. The front bumper has cracks behind the license plate. I just noticed a little paint bubbling just behind both of the rear wheels. There are two chips on the left front fender (no photo), one on the hood joint and the other at the crease of the fender. These chips were there when I bought the car and don’t seem to have gotten worse. They are tiny really. The driver side-view mirror is starting to delaminate. There are a few other small scratches here and there, but as you can see from the photos, nothing significant. As far as I know, everything works, except, the trunk unlock. It’s OK electrically (you can hear it click) but it has a mechanical problem. The radio is scratchy on AM. It does use some oil, as all of the Northstar engines do. The battery was replaced about a year ago. The radiator had a leak, and was replaced about the same time. The tires have about 50% left. Car has dealer installed aftermarket moonroof that works well and does not leak. Also wheels are factory chrome (see original sticker). In short a decent looking, dependable ride with a lot of pep. Note that the car color is "SHALE" which is a dark silver gray metallic.
