I made a promise to take our oldest son across America before he graduated from high school and to go places and see things in America that he wanted to see. So about three months ago i bought this 1993 chevy van custom to take him on the trip. After buying the van, my mechanic told me that the van needed a radiator. Since then we have replaced the water pump, plugs and wires, serpentine belt, radiator, 5 or 6 radiator and heater hoses,thermostat, charged the ac, oil changes, tires rotated, windshield wipers,gas line. The following are negotiable if the van sells for more than $1350----- the tv with built in dvd player, the radar detector, the gps, and a new cb with a strong antenna. I was told by the previous owner that the transmission has been rebuilt around 150,000 miles. I do not have record of that, however the transmission is strong and the engine is also strong. Neither have any leaks or noises. Never any accidents that i know about or was told about from previous owner. No dents or bumps on this van. Just minor scuffs here and there. For the past 7 weeks we have visited many places in america and made it to almost all the states to include a little less than 10,000 miles. The van runs great and made it without hesitations or issues. I WOULD GO ACROSS AMERICA AGAIN AND AGAIN in this van and not worry about a thing. No doubt in my mind, this van could make the trip time and time again. All seats are leather, 4 captain chairs, and a bench seat in the back that lays down into a bed. Radio works perfect along with the new tv/dvd player, the nre cb, the new radar detector, and the gps. Van ALSO HAVE A TRAILER HITCH. Issues that the van does have: 1. Van has minor scuffs and parking lots bruises 2. Drivers seat is worn with small torn places 3. Tires are worn, not new, BUT MANY miles left on them 4. A few places on the interior are torn but in place 5. All the blinds are there, but not all of them come down 6. The notch that tells you the gear that you are in doesnt work, so you have to count from park to drive to overdrive and etc 7. The drivers window and the bed are slow to raise back up when they go down, but they will eventually 8. Normal wear for year 9. Quarter size crack in windshield---------appears to be from a rock the way it looks-------doesnt leak and is not in drivers view area 10. AC works great but blows out the defrost area. Maybe a vaccum hose lose? Overall, I would take this van ANYWHERE without hesitation. $250 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours after auction ends. Any questions please ask before bidding.
