I have owned this car for 19 years, it was restored about 14 years ago. We started by pulling the body off of the frame and blasting and painting the frame and all of the components. All of the suspension components (ball joints tie rods, idler arm, steering arm, center link, shocks, wheel bearings, bushings, u-joints,etc) were just replaced 3 years ago when we updated the brakes to disc brakes (brake booster calipers and rotors,approx. 1500 miles on these parts). Back when the car was restored the lower half of the quarter panels were replaced, a few patch panels were put in the trunk area, otherwise that was all of the metal work that was done. The color is deep plum pearl (base coat/clear coat) with black interior, it’s been lowered 6 inches (professionally ) it was lowered with coil springs shorter shocks, lowered spindles, and upper A-frame mods. It’s been stored in a climate controlled garage year round. It only has been driven in the summer months for approx... 800 miles per year. There’s less than 10,000 miles on it since the rebuild. The 283ci motor and powerglide transmission were rebuilt (10000 miles ago) it also has a griffin alum. radiator with a alum fan shroud, It has 17” 100 spoke Dayton wire wheels with 275/50/17 Ziex-512 falken tires that only have 1500 miles on them. The interior is black vinyl/cloth; it has a hidden CD player in the glove box, custom component kick panel speakers (rockford) in the front and two 6x9’s in the rear with a four channel rockford amp. The head linner and carpet are 2 years old along with stereo and the dash restoration. The headlights have been updated to halogen bulbs and wired professionally. This car turns heads where ever it goes, it’s a great driver. To be a perfect car it will need: a left side trunk pan, a new "impala" left front fender emblem (there is a "super sport" one in place now, some minor touch ups, and a dent repaired on the left rear quarter panel, its a 1" dent on the wheel molding area.
