ok, guys, this was Mr smiths favorite car to drive. he was metro club member 28 and passed away last month . he was a past board member of the national met club back in the 70's and 80's. this car has had a lot of custom work done especially on interior. check out the ash trays on the door panels and rear seat area. also look at the dome lights in the headliner. check out the plastic seat covers over the front seat still. i love the fabric used on the seats. the car was probably done in the seventys i am guessing. as had some body work done here and there,floors look decent some patch work here and there. red and black paint looks good 20 feet away but is chipping in areas. left mirror is broke but i have a new replacement that goes with it. has the cool skirts on it,the rt skirt is in trunk and paint on it is peeling see pic. heater blower works and has wind shield squirters. has speedwell temp gauge in dash rt side. no radio is included . has new tail pipe and it has a thrush muffler. ck out the cute trim rings. car has been stored in a garage with the other eight mets i bought from the estate. it cranks and runs if you bottle feed it only thru carb. fuel pump not working. needs tank cleaned out, needs brakes gone thru, new fluid ect. car is not drivable but will not take much to do so. body #61414 model 562 trim t000 paint p 914 /p908 chassis e 61432 miles 49710 shipping is your responsibility and all cost paid by you, i will help on my end any way i can and can recommend shippers. please ask all? before bidding. i will be happy to do a walk a round by phone or send any other pic you need. email me or cell 812 568 0737 .we have a very reasonable reserve on this met. thanks for looking and GOD bless On Aug-03-11 at 17:31:33 PDT, seller added the following information: ok, my son in law and i have decided to lower the reserve to sell this car, give a way price. if it dont sell this time, we will get it driveable and it wont be near this cheap! any? email or cell 812 568 0737
