Vehicle Detail

Offered for auction is this lovely, numbers matching 1970 Triumph Bonneville. The real beauty of this bike is the fact that this is not a pieced together restoration but rather a restoration of an original bike. In other words, this bike was always this bike. All important parts were always on this bike. Tanks, fenders, front end, hubs, horns, etc etc...What I'm trying to convey is that this is a restoration of a very original bike. Motor was completely rebuilt, sludge trap to rocker box. Every bit of this bike was disassembled and inspected. Anything that needed to be replaced or repaired was done. If a part was replaced, we tried to use only British made parts. There are very few non UK parts on the bike. None are in critical areas. Paint is color matched to the original unfaded color that was under the kneepads on the gas tank. There is a chip under the seat on the top of the rear fender. Not visible when the seat is down. We have just replaced some of the decals on the bike to very accurate reproductions. The seat on the bike is original but does have a new cover. We will include a new complete replacement seat with the sale of the bike. The wheels are completely redone, Devon rims with stainless steel spokes, Cloth UK wiring harness. The bike has been upgraded with a Boyer electronic ignition and a solid state regulator/rectifier. Really, the only incorrect items on the bike are the mirror, allen head cover screws and the black rubber fuel lines (lines should be clear, however the clear lines available today are garbage and always leak!). The bike starts easy, runs great and arguably has the best brakes Triumph ever made! This bike rides exactly like a good Triumph should. There are no corners cut on this and it shows. The bike has logged 750 miles since restoration. Bike has a clear NJ title. Please contact us with any questions. Email or phone us. 908-464-2288. Easy shipping to Europe available. We are in an industrial area and are truck friendly. Buyer responsible for all crating, shipping, arrangements and fees. Payment in the form of bank transfer, certified check or cash due within five days of auctions end. Please, no zero feedback bidders, your bid will be cancelled, unless you contact us by phone and guarantee your sincerity to follow through with the auction. I have done my best to describe this bike, however, it is sold as is, with no warranty expressed or implied.
