Black Gold usually refers to Oil, as in Texas Tea. Well Here's another form. This very black 914-6 is an authentic as built at the factory, matching number 6 cylinder powered version of the best handling model that Porsche produced, in the '70's. It has just been awakened from a long 22 year sleep, dating back to 1989. It has always been a California car since new, and these original first issued blue license plates, can be, and should be preserved regardless of where it goes. These plates can be re-registered and re-titled in CA. to whomever buys it, with their name and home state address on the registration and title. Clifornia is the only state that will do this, knowing that these plates represent an abundance of value and integrity. For the last several months I've been massaging this gem, and continually surprised by how original and unmolested this great 914-6 is. I can't find any rust or even surface rust anywhere. Look at the photo's and check out the original floor pans and wheel wells, and storage compartment areas, front and rear, with all of the original factory seam sealer and undercoat. I've spent my time cleaning these areas and not recovering or refinishing them to keep intact the integrity of this collectable. The hell hole is in excellent condition (see picture) as it was stored all these years, without a battery. The original interior is exceptional for its age, and still has its original AM/FM working radio with original speakers. I've renewed the fuel system, and the brake system, and buffed and waxed the existing paint, I've driven and adjusted whatever was needed. It's now awake and reborn and ready for a new life.
