Vehicle Detail
This car was my pride and joy! Then a rock got kicked up and hit the radiator, and before I could pull over the headgasket was blown, and usually on these cars the head cracks as well (but Im not sure) I pulled over within 30 seconds. I started work on it myself, but as soon as I got the radiator out I turned it into my Insurance. I was just going to replace the head and radiator (and gaskets of course) but by some miracle the Insurance covered it. I was given the option of a used motor, or a cash out and the option to buy the car back, I took the latter path. Im assuming this means It will have a salvaged title because of this, but again Im not sure. The Good......The interior is in good condition, a few of the plastic parts are broken from taking them off, but the leather and dash are fine. This car was recently painted (from being keyed, not wrecked) IT has brand new 3M tint, New control arms and polyurethane bushings front and rear including all ball joints and alignment (preventative maintenance within the last 1000 miles) IT has clear corners, aftermarket tail lights, a new alarm with auto start, M style mirrors, M3 side molding, and some other things I cant recall. ALL of the glass is in perfect condition. It has a TMS Performance chip, and a Remus catback Dual exhaust... The Auto trans was recently replaced with a Reman trans from Bavarian auto recycling, and I purchased the Lifetime warranty (including shipping both ways) and 2 years of labor (18 months left on that) for $1500 by itself! The bad.... It could use a new front bumper (or the current one painted) I swapped the brakes and headlights with my new car, so it could use new rotors and pads, I also took the OBC out, but I will include the 11 button one from my new car. The headlights need to be put in (which is easy) and some of the headlight wiring cleaned up. the inside is a little messy from the pieces that I transferred to my new car (stereo, radar detector and such) but That is all easily fixed. Some odds and ends are missing, but just small stuff..)I recently re covered the headliner, and it didnt turn out perfect (Also easily fixed) You can either fix it for around $500 and have a great car to drive, or you can part it out and make a mint! (IF my landlord would allow me to keep the car here, I would just fix it, or possibly part it out....BMW parts are worth a mint, especially when there all new!) I will be taking the M spoiler off, unless you want to pay an extra $75 for it... I will include a pic of what it looked like the day of the head gasket going so you can see what this car can really look like. Im only selling it for so little because I do not have a place to keep it, and Im sad to see here go. NOTE: for some reason the pictures did not upload right, they should be up now. The only difference is the gauge cluster is the does not have the carbon fiber and satin rings, but still reverse indiglo black gauges, and is sitting in the car. (I can put it in if you want, it takes 2 minutes)
