For Sale is a 1983 Military Blazer. It has its Original 6.2 Diesel motor with a Turbo 400 Transmission. It has a locking rear differential and lockouts on the front axle. There is a 4" Suspension lift kit and has 33" 12.50 Goodyear MTR's which are almost brand new and are mounted on 10"Aluminum Slots. It has been converted to a 12 volt system. There is a skid plate to protect the transfer case and also one on the gas tank. It also has dual exhaust which is in good shape and a CB radio. The Blazer has 89,000 Miles on it and runs and drives great. As you can see from the pics the body is in really good condition. It has a few dents which are hard to see because of the camo paint. The body has Zero Rust which is rare for a Blazer. The former owner told me that there some very small pin holes in the rocker panels and he opened them up and they were full of sand so he removed them and replaced them with new ones other than that its its always been rust free. I have owned it for about 4 years and because the body is so good I never drove it in the winter. this Blazer might be in Iowa but its definitely not from Iowa. Ive done some trail riding with it and this thing will go almost anywhere. With the diesel it lugs around and does not spin easily. This IS NOT a mud truck IVE NEVER run this Blazer through Mud. Ive always thought it in to good of condition to do that to it. As far as things wrong with it , there is a small crack that is half moon shaped and it goes edge to edge so it cant spread. I have another windsheild that will go with the Blazer to the winning bidder. Its been cracked since I bought it but its in the upper corner and I never thought it was bad enough to replace, also it has a bad ground for the lights somewhere because when you step on the brakes the front parking lights come on as you can see in the video and the turn siginals dont flash, There is also noise in the rear end you can hear if you have the throttle just right. The noise has been there since I bought it and has never gotten any worse. I have no idea what it is and once again its never gotten any worse so Ive never done anything about it. This Blazer is dependable and I wouldnt be afraid to drive it anywhere. I once drove it to Chicago which is a 5 hour drive one way. Ive never checked the milege but it is very easy on fuel. I would guess over 20 MPG Ive been around some of these Non Military Diesel Blazers and when runing correctly Ive seen some as high as 24 MPG. If you have Zero feedback contact me before bidding.
